Although Mr. Williams now devotes full time to his firm, he has a unique background having worked as executive director of one of California’s largest redevelopment agencies, as Assistant City Manager in Richmond, Virginia and as County Manager in Durham, North Carolina. Because of his unique background, Mr. Williams serves as a consultant on many urban revitalization projects. He is expert on federal funding programs including HUD, the Economic Development Administration and the Department of Transportation, is knowledgeable of private capital resources and works with a number of private developers and investors who focus on inner city areas. His most recent experience has been in Atlanta, Georgia, San Antonio, Texas, Jackson Mississippi, Orlando, Florida, Los Angeles, California, Oakland, California and Pittsburg California.
He holds registration in Virginia, North Carolina, California, The District of Columbia and Indiana and is a member of the National Council of Registration Boards. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Institute of Certified Planners and a host of other professional organizations.
